Hello, my name is Kara Damon. Music has always been a huge part of my life. I began to play the piano at the age of 6 and over the course of 13 years I was very blessed to study under two amazing teachers, Virginia Jones and Gerardo Ascheri. I have continued to pursue musical opportunities ever since!
Throughout the years, I've been able to perform in concerts, recitals, and competitions as well as to play for musical theater and church services, and accompany both professional and non-professional choirs and soloists. One of my favorite things to do as a pianist is to collaborate with other musicians!
After graduating from high school I began my career as a music teacher. I started with 3 students in the summer of 2012, and by 2018 I had over 50 students!
In August of 2022 I moved from DeWitt, Michigan to Kalamazoo, Michigan and I am excited to continue to find new opportunities to make music and teach here in West Michigan!
